Yarrr me hearty’s! ye oldie poop deck has been planked and awaits the fineries of rigging and a cannon or two…oh and a mast would be nice…and maybe a scantily clad wench.
When making stuff like this I find it helps to listen to music that best fit’s the project.
This is the start of my pirate crew for Legends Of The High Seas (loths) there all from Black Scorpion miniatures and the pirate girly is (or was) limited edition in “one time only!” resin, now there whole range is in resin and I feel the fool! On the plus side though unlike other wargames manufacturers they DIDN’T jack the price up, so good for you Black Scorpion!
I hade a few points (gold doubloons) left over and luckily had a few Lord Of The Rings pirates kicking around that filled up the rest of my crew.
I am also working on a small/medium ship that is taking shape nicely and will be used in an up and coming campaign.
